எனது 'குயில்கள் இப்போது குரைக்கின்றன' என்ற கவிதையை கலாபூஷணம் கவிஞர் மீஆத் அவர்கள் ஆங்கிலத்தில் மிகச்சிறப்பாக மொழிபெயர்த்து தந்துள்ளார்.மிக விரைவில் வெளிவரவுள்ள என்னுடைய கவிதை நூலில் அவரால் மொழிபெயர்க்கப்பட்ட கவிதைகள் இடம்பெற்றுள்ளன.

You beat cobweb
dust
With artist’s brush
You break the
stones
With the hands
that sing epic.
Though you have
the power of
Creating achievement
You collect the
drainage
You are born
to create history
But you wipe
the shoes..
You fan the
insignia
To those who
beat you
With a whip!
You apply sandalwood paste
To those who
made you
Dried leaf.
You cook rice
To those who
give you hunger
You ask, “are
you quite hale?”
From those who
gave you poison.
Keeping the ocean
within you
You go begging
Despite
existence of thousand suns
Nearby
You stay in
darkness.
You carry the loaded
sack
Upon your shoulder
That carries the burden
of the country
Though you carry
the load
You go restrained
with hunger-why?
In spite of thousand
relatives
In the end
you wander for
food
Though you toil
hard with body
Emaciated
You stand in
the street.
Even breeze will
change into a
storm
Be alert about
it . Oh! Man!
Leave lying in
grief and ruin
Stand daringly oh!
Man!
To kill the
malady of death
There isn’t a remedy
oh! Man!
Till you live
Lead the life
for sake of
you
Oh! Man!
If water too
gets irate
It will knock
and ask you
Oh! Man!
Cut off your
heart
That lacks shyness
Oh! Man!
Affection , love
and attachment
Are only out dated
lies. Oh! Man!
Will you understand
The gang of
humans who disguise
Oh! Man!?
If money is
in your hands
The village too will
honour you
Even if you
need breath
You will get
it free Oh!
Man!
Keeping a garden
of water
Don’t drink thirst
If you stand
shedding tears
In grief
Poetry will not be
delivered!
Keeping the cuckoo
within you
Don’t linger barking
Don’t get hit
and hit on
head
And don’t go
drooping.
Even if the crows utter good
Lend your ear
to it
By displaying your
insolence
In case you
close your ears
It is the
sword for you.
Dogs are always
better
Than the man
who is
Not grateful
If you realize
it and live
The sky
will be under
you!
